Request for Proposals
The School-Based Health Center (SBHC) State Program Office (SPO) is pleased to announce the release of the 2013-2014 SBHC Request for Proposal (RFP) for planning grant monies. The Oregon State Legislature’s recent approval of the budget for fiscal year 2014 (July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014) and the passing of HB2445 allows for the release of expansion funds for new SBHCs across Oregon. This year, the SPO is offering both Phase I grant awards (up to $30,000) and Advance Phase grant awards (up to $60,000). Phase I awards assume a two-year planning process to meet state Certification Standards, where Advance Phase awards require sites to be certified within the first year of planning and therefore entry into the SBHC funding formula mid-biennium.
